DON'T WAIT TO IMPLEMENT & PROMOTE YOUR PROGRAM
- Even if you haven't fully thought through prizes & points, it is a good idea to get the program live so you can collect feedback from fans on where they'd like to see the program go.
- We've seen schools even launch the program with no prizes. We let fans know that prizes will be announced at a later date.
MAKE SURE FANS KNOW ABOUT THE PROGRAM AND WHAT THEY CAN GET FROM IT
- Talk about the prizes that are offered on social media
- Promote double point nights with push notifications & on other channels
- Ask your Customer Success Coach about providing graphics you can use to promote the program
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX TO DRIVE ATTENDANCE TO SPECIFIC GAMES
- You don't have to stick to season long prizes
- Have students check-in to a game for a chance to win prizes for that specific game
- Create competitions between student groups
INVOLVE YOUR SPONSORS WHEN THINKING OF POTENTIAL PRIZES
- Gift cards, coupons, sponsored gear, etc. are all on the table for sponsors to get involved in
NEED HIGH VALUE PRIZES ON A BUDGET? THINK EXPERIENCES.
- Sideline passes, flip the coin to start the game, locker room tours, attend a practice, meet the team, etc.
- Experiences are extremely valuable to fans and can help you offer great incentives for fans while sticking to a budget
