About FanX Trivia

FanX Trivia brings a new interactive gaming module to the FanX Product Suite, giving FNO clients the ability to easily create and share branded trivia challenges that reward fans for participating. The new product includes the ability to customize questions with multiple question types and to enhance quizzes with imagery. FanX Trivia will also serve as a revenue-generating tool for athletics marketers looking for new digital activation opportunities to bring their sponsors.


How to Create and Publish a Trivia Game

Creating a Trivia Game

  • Operations -> Trivia Games -> ADD+

  • Create questions

  • Save


Publishing a Trivia Game

  • Promotions -> Manage Templates -> ADD+
  • Under Promotion Tap Behavior select
    • Deep Link -> Trivia Game
    • Trivia Game -> Select the game
  • Complete creating the Promotion Template
  • Click the Promotions header -> ADD+ -> select the Promotion Template with the Trivia game
  • Schedule and publish the Trivia game with our without a Notification


Collecting Rewards Trivia Data

  • Rewards -> Rewards Configuration -> Export Check-Ins -> Generate Spreadsheet

    • This will generate an Excel Sheet
  • Filter the Event Name by the Trivia Game Title
    • This will show the users who participated along with the points they collected for completing the game


FanX Trivia FAQs

Can I tie FanX Trivia to FanX Rewards?

  • Yes! You can Reward fans for participating in the trivia game and/or you can Reward points for each question users get correct.

What data is collected?

  • We collect data on game by game basis. The metrics are listed below.

    • Trivia Start: The number of users who started the trivia game
    • Trivia End: The number of users who finished the trivia game
    • Rewards: List of Rewards users who participated in the trivia game and the number of points they received 

Is FanX Trivia available for everyone or just FanX Rewards Users?

  • You do not need to have FanX Rewards in order to take advantage of FanX Trivia.

  • If you have FanX Rewards you can open games up to all users, users who are apart of your Rewards program, and those who are not. You also have the option to make Trivia games that are EXCLUSIVE to Rewards users ONLY
