Purpose: Getting all of the relevant information for a game into the app is important, as you'll want to make sure your fans have all of the information they need! Here are 5 of the most common things you may need to change on a game in the FanX Portal.

How to add Audio, Video, Tickets, Stat, & General links to a game

Each game in the FanX app can include links to tickets, stats, audio, and video. Furthermore, items such as digital programs, standings, and venue directions can be added to the game view as well.

For clients with FanX Plus activated (website syncing), links that are added to games on your website will automatically pull in and update on the app.  For clients without FanX Plus, links can be imported at the start of the season as part of your excel sheets or can be added later on through the portal.

How:

Step 1: Navigate to the game you wish to edit on the portal.

Step 2:

For Tickets, Stats, and General URLs:

  • Copy and paste the links to the proper fields found in the "URLs" portion of the game edit page
  • You can add an unlimited number of links to each game.  Common items to include are:
    • Directions
    • Digital Program
    • Opponent Roster
    • Standings
    • More Information

    For Audio:

  • You will have the option to configure the link, title, subtitle, and imagery for the stream.
  • Source Type: If you have worked with your Customer Success Coach to find a link that will play in-app, you can select "In-App Streaming Data" from the "Audio Type" dropdown menu.  If not, you should select "Link to External Player."

    For Video:

  • Much like audio, you will have the option to configure the link, title, subtitle, and imagery for the stream.
  • If the video feed is streamed through YouTube, the Source Type can be set to "In-app video provided by YouTube." All other video streaming links will fit under "Link to external web player."

Step 3: Click the "SAVE GAME" button in the footer
