Purpose:

This article will outline many of the common questions about syncing your FanX app with your website provider through our data-sync add-on, FanX+.

What providers does FanX+ support for data-sync?

Currently, FanX+ works with the following website providers:

  • Sidearm
  • WMT
  • PrestoSports

How much does it cost?

FanX+ pricing depends on your web provider and is dependent on the cost to integrate with that web provider.  Reach out to your CSC to learn more.

What data gets pulled in from the website?

FanX+ will sync the following data from your website to the FanX app:

  • Schedules
  • Rosters
  • Coaches
  • News Feed
  • Team Record

Schedules

  • All games for your current season
  • Game date/time, status (cancelled, postponed, etc.)
  • Opponent (name/logo)
  • Game links (audio, video, stats, tickets, etc.)
  • Game results (W/L, score)

Rosters

  • Player Name
  • Player Info (height, weight, eligibility year, hometown, position)
  • Player headshot
  • Player bio

Coaches

  • Coach name
  • Position title
  • Headshot
  • Bio

News Feed

  • Any news articles published on your website
  • News articles are filtered by team

Team Record

  • Total wins/losses
  • Conference wins/losses

How long does data take to sync?

Once data is updated on your website, we expect it to sync within 10-15 minutes.  The only time it may take longer is at the start of the season when you are publishing lots of new data to the website.  For example, publishing a new football roster with bios, headshots, etc. will likely take longer to sync than changing the time on a single game.

If data is taking longer than 15 minutes to sync between your website and app, reach out to your customer success coach and they can help troubleshoot!
